Groove Armada, Chaka Khan and others to play at Good Times In The Park

Norman Jay, the Brit DJ and MBE holder, is launching his very own new West London fest named Good Times In The Park. Good Times soundsystem of Norman Jay has been a raw material of the Notting Hill Carnival since the 80s as well as a major attraction for thousands of people who attend the 2 day August bank holiday program.
This year, however, would mark the 1st year of Good Times happening outside Notting Hill Carnival for the very first time in its thirty year history. The 1st two day Good Times In The Park fest as well as West London’s very first music fest, instead would take place in the Wormwood Scrubs Park on 13th and 14th September, i.e. Saturday and Sunday.
The names includes an exclusive Brit performance from Chaka Khan. And the days would also see Groove Armada, LTJ Bukem, Idris Elba, Toddla T, The Brand New Heavies, Fabio and Grooverider, Dub Pistols, David Rodigan, Goldie, Jazzie B, Ms Dynamite as well as many more hit to the stage.
According to reports, Groove Armada’s Tom and Andy told that they are really chuffed at being able to act for Norman at his first festival. The spirit of a fest starts with the crew of people who are involved in it, and that is the great thing about Good Times In The Park, as Norman has people he grew up with and who were a part of the scene involved.
