International artist Shaggy said that he is quite happy that Prince Harry knows about the work his Make a Difference Foundation has been carrying out at the Bustamante Hospital for children in St Andrew. The hospital was visited by Prince Harry yesterday as a part of his 4 day visit to Jamaica. Speaking to The Gleaner Shaggy said that they spoke about the charitable trust and he asked as to how many concerts were done in this regard. Shaggy further added that Harry’s mother Princess Diana was supposed to pay a visit right before she died.

Shaggy also added that the prince’s visit was of great help in bringing about international awareness regarding the children’s hospital and with the help of Shaggy and Friends concerts, the artist has raised nearly $ 90 million for the hospital and contributed more than 450 pieces of equipment. Prince Harry was accompanied by Lady Allen, Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and health minister Dr Fenton Ferguson. They sat with Shaggy and other children in the Learning Activity Center where they were entertained by the children’s singing. Shaggy exchanged several light moments with Prince Harry and said that he was quite happy with the prince’s warmth and reception to children.
